ClearPath Guard

Fall detection that sees it coming.

In Development

A camera-free safety mesh that doesn't just detect falls — it analyzes movement patterns over time to flag rising risk before a serious incident.

Fall response, turned into fall prevention.

Most fall-detection systems share a problem: they only know something is wrong after the person is already on the floor.

ClearPath Guard is being built to do something most fall systems can't. By analyzing gait, balance, and movement patterns over time, Guard generates a Fall Risk Score that helps families and providers intervene days or weeks before a serious incident.

We're turning fall response into fall prevention.

How Guard works.

Guard is a small, quiet network of sensors placed throughout the home. Most one-bedroom installations use three nodes: a hub and two satellites. Larger homes use more.

Each sensor uses 60GHz mmWave radar to map movement. Unlike a camera, radar doesn't capture images. It senses motion, posture, and presence — but it never sees who you are or what you look like. Nothing is recorded. Nothing leaves the home unless something is wrong.

When Guard detects a fall, it alerts the designated caregivers immediately — through SMS, voice call, or in-app notification. If cellular fallback is available, alerts go out even if Wi-Fi is down.

Beyond the moment of a fall, Guard's continuous monitoring builds a picture of how someone moves, day after day. Subtle changes — slowing gait, shifting balance, longer transitions from sitting to standing — get surfaced as a Fall Risk Score that families and providers can act on.

Why Guard is different.

No cameras.

Radar instead of images. The sensor maps movement without ever seeing the room.

Nothing to wear.

No pendants, no watches, no charging schedules to remember. Guard works whether the person is barefoot, in pajamas, or in the shower.

Predictive, not just reactive.

Most fall systems wait until something happens. Guard watches the trend lines.

Local intelligence first.

Guard processes data on-device wherever possible. Information stays in the home unless an alert is needed.

Where Guard is today.

Guard is in active prototyping. Hardware is selected, the bill of materials is finalized, and first home installations are scheduled for later in 2026.

We're being deliberate. Fall detection is too important to ship before it's ready. We'd rather take an extra quarter than put something into a senior's home that we don't fully trust.
