Privacy Policy
Effective: July 1, 2026 · Last updated: April 26, 2026
ClearPath Technologies LLC ("ClearPath," "we," "us," or "our") respects your privacy and is committed to protecting it. This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, store, and share information when you visit our website (clearpathflex.com) or use our products and services, including ClearPath Remind. By using our services, you agree to the practices described in this policy.
1. Information We Collect
Information you provide directly
When you create an account, contact us, or use our services, you may provide: your name, email address, phone number, mailing address, payment information, the senior's name and medication schedule, and the names and contact information of caregivers you invite to your account.
Information collected automatically
When you use ClearPath Remind, we automatically collect: log data (IP address, device type, browser, timestamps), usage data (which features you use, when reminders fire, when doses are confirmed or missed), and cookies and similar technologies as described below.
Health-related information
ClearPath Remind allows you to enter information about medications, dosages, schedules, and adherence. While we are not a HIPAA covered entity, we treat this information with the same care that healthcare providers do. You control who sees this information by inviting specific caregivers to your account. We never share it with anyone you have not invited.
2. How We Use Information
We use information to: provide and maintain our services; deliver medication reminders; coordinate adherence information among invited caregivers; process payments; send transactional emails (account notifications, billing, security alerts); respond to your inquiries; improve our products; comply with legal obligations; and detect and prevent fraud or abuse.
We do not sell your personal information to anyone, ever. We do not share it with advertisers or data brokers. We do not use it to target advertising.
3. How We Share Information
We share information only in these limited circumstances:
With caregivers you invite. When you add a caregiver to your account, that caregiver sees the senior's medication schedule and adherence history. You control these invitations.
With service providers. We use carefully selected vendors to operate our services (cloud hosting, payment processing, email delivery, SMS delivery). These providers access information only to perform services on our behalf and are contractually obligated to protect it.
For legal reasons. We may share information if required by law, subpoena, court order, or if necessary to protect the rights, property, or safety of ClearPath, our users, or others.
In a business transfer. If ClearPath is acquired or merges with another company, your information may be transferred. You will be notified of any such transfer and any change in privacy practices.
4. Data Security
We protect information using industry-standard security practices: encryption in transit (TLS) and at rest, access controls, regular security reviews, and breach notification procedures. No system is perfectly secure, but we work hard to safeguard the information you trust us with. If we discover a breach affecting your information, we will notify you within 72 hours as required by law.
5. Your Rights
You have the right to: access the information we hold about you; correct inaccurate information; delete your account and the data associated with it; export your data in a portable format; opt out of non-essential communications; and object to certain processing of your information.
California residents (CCPA / CPRA)
If you are a California resident, you have additional rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act, including the right to know what personal information we collect, the right to delete it, the right to correct it, and the right to opt out of "sales" of personal information (we do not sell personal information). To exercise these rights, contact us at privacy@clearpathflex.com.
6. Data Retention
We retain personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide services, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. When you delete your account, we delete or anonymize your personal information within 30 days, except where retention is legally required.
7. Cookies & Similar Technologies
Our website uses cookies for essential functions (keeping you signed in, remembering preferences) and limited analytics to understand how visitors use our site. We do not use cookies for advertising or cross-site tracking. You can disable cookies in your browser settings; some site features may not work correctly without them.
8. Children's Privacy
ClearPath Remind is designed for adults caring for older adults. Our services are not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe we have inadvertently collected information from a child, please contact us at privacy@clearpathflex.com.
9. International Users
ClearPath operates from the United States. If you use our services from outside the U.S., your information will be transferred to and processed in the United States, where data protection laws may differ from those in your country.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you by email or through a prominent notice on our website at least 30 days before the changes take effect. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects when this policy was last revised.
